Join us on a train to the future. A future where adults with IDD have endless possibilities and are cherished and respected. Can you imagine it?
We so often see the opposite. This population is often neglected, overlooked, thought to have no potential for improvement, and not receiving the services they need and deserve.
Through opportunity and time, we have seen our clients make life-altering progress and we know it’s possible for all!
Our goal is to have our clients reach their maximum potential during their time spent with us. Some may be capable of more than others, but we want every single one of our clients to be functioning at the top of their abilities. Able to do things that are important to them and to their independence and safety.
At the top of our list is making sure all of our clients are able to communicate their wants and needs in an effective manner - whether that be by speaking, a robust AAC device, a communication board, sign language, or a combination of these manners. We want them to be able to let someone know if they’re feeling unsafe, if they're afraid, or if they want grape or strawberry jelly, etc.
Another imperative is educating others on what this amazing population is capable of. We love to share our success stories and hope to produce research articles and other publications in the future with hard data to share with the world.
We see a future where adults with IDD are able to communicate their needs, achieve their goals, and get everything out of life that is possible!
Our goal is to make this future exist today! We hope you will join us in our mission!
