How Soundly Speaking began and why we do what we do today!
It all began with pink t-shirts!

From Tennessee to Texas...
Back in 2014, Soundly Speaking owner, Michele Davis, spent a day at Dollywood amusement park in Tennessee. While waiting for her children to ride a water ride, she noticed a group of adults with IDD all dressed in identical pink t-shirts. Her heart went out to them and she immediately began formulating short and long term speech goals for a few of them she longed to work with.
Within weeks of returning to Texas, an agency called to ask about evaluating a special needs client. That was our first contract, and so Soundly Speaking was born! |
Soundly Speaking is unabashedly a Christian-owned company. We believe that God orchestrated that divine appointment in Tennessee and that we are now tasked with caring for His most beloved creations. We strive to honor God in everything we do. |
