WHO PRIMARILY DOES SOUNDLY SPEAKING SERVE?
Soundly Speaking primarily (but not exclusively) serves those across the states of Texas and Oklahoma that have Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD) and who are on the following programs: HCS, Texas Home Living, CLASS, and Soonercare. We also accept private pay. We are open to working with your insurance company as well, so just ask!

HOW MANY HOURS ARE REQUIRED FOR AN EVALUATION?
We need 4 hours on the plan in order to perform the initial evaluation. A care plan and goals along with recommendations will then be provided to address future therapy needs.

​HOW IS SOUNDLY SPEAKING DIFFERENT FROM OTHER THERAPY COMPANIES?
​Soundly Speaking is unique in that we SPECIALIZE in Adult IDD consumers across the states of Texas and Oklahoma. They are our PASSION and what drives us to do what we do each and every day! We communicate with the families on a weekly basis, updating the progress and giving suggestions for at-home activities. Case managers are updated on a monthly basis as well! We care and it shows!

WHAT DOES SOUNDLY SPEAKING REQUIRE TO BEGIN SERVICES?
We have a Client Referral Intake Form that we'll gladly send you. This lists everything we need to begin services.

DOES SOUNDLY SPEAKING REQUIRE A DOCTOR'S ORDER?
We require a Doctor's order for PT, OT, and Dietary, but not for Speech Therapy.

WHERE DOES SOUNDLY SPEAKING TREAT THEIR CLIENTS?
We travel to where the clients are during the day; day programs, private homes, and group homes. Teletherapy is also available anywhere in the states of Texas and Oklahoma.

DOES SOUNDLY SPEAKING OFFER SCREENINGS?
Yes, we offer FREE screenings in any day program! We have found this to be an effective way of identifying those who would benefit from our many programs.
